Tilottama Shome is a writer and a translator from Bengali and English. She is an architect by training a wanderer by profession. Bengali literature has been a favourite genre of hers and

she is delighted to be able to translate a well-loved title for a wider audience. Her early childhood days were spent in Calcutta when she spent a lot of time reading children’s fiction, both Bengali and English. She is interested in all things historical and old,  and is widely travelled around the world.
