Sonal Shah is a writer and editor based in New Delhi. She has led teams at VICE India and Time Out Delhi, as well as been an editor at The Caravan among other places. She writes on a wide range of subjects including literature, language, the arts, the city,  travel, and food and drink, for numerous publications. She was born in the Washington D.C. area, attended Swarthmore College, and later the Columbia University School of Journalism.
