Shobha Viswanath is co-founder and Publishing Director of Karadi Tales Company, a path-breaking venture of audio and picture books of Indian tales and stories for children,  illustrated, recited and sung by leading Indian artistes. She has been responsible for steering the direction of the publishing house. She has also authored over twenty books and been translated into multiple languages such as Korean and German. Shobha’s efforts are focused towards reclaiming a place for Indian literature for children in the picture book format.
