Rashmi Palkhivala is a teacher of English who has written plays and text books for children. She has also has written “A Life of Light” the biography of yoga guru  Sri B K S Iyengar which has now been translated into Chinese and Spanish. 

Rashmi has a written an illustrated history book on Mumbai for children which is being used as a history text book for children in Mumbai. Additionally she has written, produced and directed plays for young adults based on socio-political issues in India. She is an Examiner for the International Baccalaureate, and aspires to be a farmer.
