Dr Medha Rajadhyaksha, M.Sc.,Ph.D., worked at Sophia College, Mumbai, India, where she has served as senior faculty, Vice Principal (Science), Professor and Head of the Department of Life Sciences and as Professor Emeritus post retirement. She has a keen interest in popularizing science. She has written articles and authored/co-authored books published by National Book Trust, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and Oxford University Press.
