Lior Zalmanson

Digital Artist & Writer, Israel

Dr. Lior Zalmanson is a researcher, digital artist, and writer whose award-winning works focus on digital culture and the information society. In 2011, he founded Print Screen Festival, Israel’s digital arts festival, attracting thousands of artists, researchers, and technologists and exploring themes of digital culture in the arts. Lior was a Fulbright scholar at NYU and the Metropolitan Museum, researching online behaviour. He is an assistant professor at Tel Aviv University, studying interactive and participatory experiences with artificial intelligence. His recent book, We have ways to make you have fun is a collection of poems made entirely from texts by big tech platforms’ algorithms.
