Keerti Ramachandra is a teacher, freelance editor of fiction and non-fiction, and a translator. She translates from Kannada, Marathi and Hindi into English. She has translated three collections of short fiction, two major novels, a biography and innumerable short stories which have appeared in anthologies and magazines, a collection of Hindi stories and a major nonfiction work and several short stories from Kannada. She has also translated a memoir from Konkani. Besides she has edited fiction translated from Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati and Spanish, and English fiction and nonfiction, for leading publishing houses.
