Hemant Divate is a Marathi poet, editor, publisher, translator and a poetry activist. He is the author of seven poetry collections in Marathi. Poetrywala has recently published his Struggles with Imagined Gods and Other Poems (in English translation) and Paranoia (in the original Marathi). He has a book each in Spanish, Irish, Arabic, German and Estonian apart from five in English. His poems have also been translated into more than 30 international languages.
