An Introduction to the Facilitator
Dr. Lior Zalmanson is a researcher, digital artist, and writer whose award-winning works focus on digital culture and the information society. In 2011, Lior founded Print Screen Festival, Israel’s digital arts festival, attracting thousands of artists, researchers, and technologists and exploring themes of digital culture in the arts. Lior was a Fulbright scholar at NYU and the Metropolitan Museum, researching online behavior. His films, plays, and virtual reality artworks have been produced worldwide and presented in venues such as the Tribeca and Cannes festivals. He is an assistant professor at Tel Aviv University, studying interactive and participatory experiences with artificial intelligence. His recent book, We have ways to make you have fun, is a collection of poems made entirely from texts by big tech platforms’ algorithms.
