An Introduction to the Facilitator
Shabnam Minwalla writes for newspapers, plays mother to three teenagers, devours murder mysteries and shops for sarees. But her absolutely, totally, completely favourite activities are writing books for children and seeking out ghosts, stories and bargains in her beloved Mumbai. Her popular books include The Six Spellmakers of Dorabji Street, What Maya Saw and the laugh-a-minute Nimmi series. Her two latest books are the shiver-inducing Saira Zariwala is Afraid and the mind-boggling Murder at Daisy Apartments. Shabnam has been a speaker at the Jaipur Lit Fest and has conducted workshops and book readings at Bookaroo, the Kala Ghoda Festival, the Tata Lit Live festival and lit fests around the country.
