Irwin Allan Sealy is one of India’s best known novelists. He is also a poet and author of travel books. He has been awarded the Padma Shri, a civilian honour of the Government of India, and is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award, a literary honour conferred by the Indian Academy of Letters.
